Chris Scarratt – Chef de Cuisine
Chris is an inspiring cook, who combines both passion and high levels of skill to produce the most delicious and enticing dishes.Whether it be as a top class caterer or in his master classes at the New Farm Cookery School, Chris brings professionalism and creativity to everything he does.
He has spent many years working in some of the UK’s leading hotels and restaurants, as well as spending time in Switzerland to master the arts of patisserie and chocolate artistry.Over the years Chris has catered for two fine dining Royal events, celebrities and members of the peerage, making him the definitive choice in high quality catering.
Jeff Thomas – Master Chef of Great Britain 2011
Jeff has gained over 40 years of experience as a chef having trained in Cardiff and in London at the Savoy under the renowned chef Silvanno Trompetto. Jeff has also visited many countries working in Bermuda and the South of France, to name but a few. Locally, Jeff owned and ran The Forester’s Arms pub & restaurant in Yoxall, gaining one AA rosette and being voted as one of Staffordshire’s top three restaurants in 2005. Since selling this restaurant, he has been able to focus on being a consultant chef and working on projects such as developing the menus at well-known local restaurants, The Winery and Branston Golf and Country Club.
He is a member of the Craft Guild of Chefs and has been awarded ‘Masterchef of Great Britain’ status 2011. He is 1 of only 200 other chefs in the country to have been recognised at this level.
Jeff’s enthusiasm and passion for teaching modern cooking methods is why we are proud to have him on our team.
Sanjeev is Director & Executive Chef at ‘Sanjeev’s’ a renowned Indian restaurant in Baddeley Green, Stoke-on-Trent. Sanjeev’s works on the Ayurvedic Concept that creates dishes with ancient herbs and spices in order to release stress and tension.
Sanjeev began his culinary training in Rajasthan, and has since worked in fine dining restaurants throughout the UK. He was awarded the International Indian Chef of the year in 2006. His boundless energy and amusing anecdotes, along with his highly renowned expertise, make him a valued member of our team.
